The water softeners of the GENO-mat WF series are designed for the softening and partial softening of drinking and service water. The water softeners work according to the ion exchange principle. They are mainly designed for fields of application where soft water is not needed  all the time. There are systems available with regeneration in full salting and economy salting mode.

Only full salting systems are able to soften the water to less than 0.1 °dH (mainly required for industrial applications). The systems with economy salting are recommended for the commercial sector; the soft water is blended to hardness range 1 by means of a blending unit (optional). The systems with economy salting are equipped with a disinfection unit as a standard feature.

The GENO-mat WF water softeners feature a built-in bypass to ensure the supply with raw water during the regeneration. They are equipped with a volume-controlled control unit. The regeneration is released as soon as the set water volume has been softened.

The system comes in 5 sizes with peak flows from 2.0 m³/h up to 9.5 m³/h.
